I vote not POD because it doesn't look as good up close as I thought it would.

it's cheap because it's a 1.5 steer tube and there's hardly any market for them. Message me if you are still interested.

Well, I watched a video of yours and you definitely know what you like. You've gone in a strange direction though. You're fork, tire, cranks, and seat are very very dirtjump/streetish, whereas your stem and frame are absolutely trials specific. I would have thought you'd be better off with a less specific frame and stem and a lighter, lower fork. the high bb and long stem must be a pain in the butt. It's like the complete opposite of Ryan leech or Jeff lenosky's bike.

Sharp angles concentrate stresses. Maybe keep that in mind if you make another one. If the place where your fingers go was rounded it would be much stronger. More conventional lever designs are a lot more practical, I'm afraid. I appreciate your work though.

Yeah, unfortunately I don't think that that steer tube is long enough for any bike.

Is it just me or has this jump gotten to be about 50 times bigger in the last 8 years?

I don't know the model but it must be on the higher end because it has the cnc'd arch. I'd say not a Z1 though because it doesn't look like it has rebound. I guess its a Z3. Just a word to the wise, those old forks didn't have standardized disc brake mounts, so you'll need a special adapter that I don't know if you can find if you wanted to run a disc. Old Bombers rock though, if I was going to build a commuter I'd totally use a for like this. I used to have a 98 z4 but I sold it for 65 bucks a year and a half ago or so.

I was just subtely making the point that the angle of your shock link is irrelevant. Of course, I'd love to see the graph of your spring progression. Also, what's the red curve that that the lower link pivot seems to be on one end of? It looks like this frame would have quite a high virtual pivot, is that what you want? As long as your idler is in the right place you shouldn't have chain growth, so it could be pretty sweet.

Sorry, I was wrong. There's some small differences between this and my 2004 so I think it's a 2005 like the seller said in his ad.

Oh, and it's a 2004 not 2005. I have the same bike. It's a great bike though, but get him to give you the rear wheel with it because it's pretty specific to the frame.

Advertisement information is incorrect. That's a 12 X 135 thru axle. Those hubs are a bit hard to find.

If he can in fact land like that and still ride it out it says a lot about his upper body strength, since he looks like he's pretty well over the bars as he lands.

It would be better if you used more shading to bring out the subject- like if the background wasn't so bright and colourful and complicated.

Hey, I've done this drop before. That would be a nasty fall, were you able to keep riding in Gold River?
